This year’s exhibit is the CB4 ‘Interceptor’ - the result of ongoing research around the ‘Neo Sports Café’ design theme which first bore fruit in the ‘CB4 Concept’ shown at EICMA in 2015. The new concept model adds an evocative ‘Sport Endurance’ tone to the original design language of the CB4 Concept, creating a new perspective on the world of the Café Racer, on which the series is based.

A new version of Honda’s definitive full-size adventure machine is ready for Adventure Sports in 2018, with larger fuel tank for a range of over 500km, higher riding position, greater ground clearance, heated grips, extended fairing plus longer travel suspension. It also has Throttle By Wire with 3 riding modes, expanded Honda Selectable Torque Control parameters and revised intake and exhaust. The original Africa Twin’s 30th anniversary is celebrated with unique paint scheme.

Honda’s X-ADV mixes tough SUV style and convenience with long travel suspension plus strong performance from its 745cc twin-cylinder engine. Updated for 2018, the Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) receives an off-road G switch, and the engine gets 2-Level Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC). A 35kW version is also now available for A2 licence holders.
