Davide Guarneri and Davide Soreca shine at ISDE 2017 with Honda-RedMoto World Enduro Team

It was another great test for the Honda-RedMoto World Enduro Team as they tackled the 92^nd International Six Days Enduro at Brive la Gaillarde, in France. Davide Guarneri finished third in the E1 class and Davide Soreca took second place with the Italian Team in the Junior Trophy.

It was an unfortunate event for Giacomo Redondi: the first day he finished 40^th because he lost over 20 minutes replacing a part of the rear brake, broken against a big stone. In the following days he recovered to the 31^st position with good results; sixth on Tuesday, seventh on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with 11^th on Saturday.

It was amazing race for Davide Guarneri who was always close to the top five: he finished second on Monday, third on Tuesday, seventh on Wednesday, fourth on Thursday, second on Friday, seventh on Saturday and third in the E1 final classification.

Davide Soreca also put in a good performance: third on Monday, eighth on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, seventh on Friday, ninth on Saturday and a final position of sixth in the E1 class. Thanks to his results the Italian team conquered the second position in the Junior Trophy with a gap of only 15’38 to the French team.

Next weekend Honda-RedMoto World Enduro Team will be back on track for the last round of the Italian championship, held in Trichiana (BL) on September 9-10.

“I’m very happy for Italy’s second position in the Junior Trophy. We gave our best and reduced the gap to the French team to 15 seconds. It was not enough to win, but we are satisfied with the second position. I raced a good Six Days getting the sixth final position in the E1 class. Now we go home to face the Italian Championship with the aim of getting the title, then we will also think of the EJ World Championship. I thank all Honda-RedMoto World Enduro Team and the Italian Federation staff”.

“I raced a good Six Days with great results in all the 25 special tests. Before the final cross test I was second in the E1 class, but the American Sipes managed to recover and pass me. I’m satisfied because I proved that without the extreme test I can win. It was too bad for Redondi, we could have got a good result for the Italian team”.
