Honda reveals three further new or upgraded models for 2014
· New Gold Wing F6C revealed, together with two versions of retro-classic CB1100
· Brings total of new or upgraded models for 2014 to sixteen
Honda today reveals details of three significant further additions to its 2014 model line-up for Europe. All three were unveiled at Honda’s “home” territory of the Tokyo Motor Show.
Gold Wing F6C
Based on the Gold Wing platform, the new stripped-down Gold Wing F6C weighs 70kg less than the Gold Wing and injects a shot of adrenaline into the performance cruiser arena, with the incredible flat-six 1800cc engine at the heart of a motorcycle with commanding style and show- stopping presence.
CB1100 EX and CB1100
Honda’s retro-classic CB1100 will be available in two guises for 2014. In response to customer feedback, the new CB1100 EX version wears wire-spoke wheels and twin rear silencers, further evoking the spirit of the 1960s and 70s. The standard machine will remain available in a striking all-black colour scheme. Both versions feature a new six speed gearbox, higher headlight position and enhanced instrumentation.
This trio bring Honda’s total of new or upgraded models for 2014 to sixteen.
