Honda will showcase the newest member of its Miimo Robotic Mower range, the HRM40 Live, at the 2020 Ideal Home Show. Coined Small Miimo, the autonomous mower arrives with a host of advanced features that will deliver a smart garden for your smart home.
Two Small Miimos will be roaming the London Olympia convention centre; one in the Future Living Home garden and the other one on the Quantum Lodge roof garden. As its name suggests, the new mower casts a small footprint measuring just 455mm long and 364mm wide, which makes for easy storage. Despite its diminutive figure, the Small Miimo Live is highly capable, combining a smart feature suite with the latest generation componentry.
An exclusive show offer of £200 off, which brings the price down to £849 (Live model), makes the Small Miimo a quality, great value proposition, not to mention the inclusion of the standard-issue, five-year warranty. Those with buying intent can purchase a Small Miimo with the help of Honda Ambassadors, on the Honda stand, for delivery/collection post-show . Alternatively, the offer can be redeemed post-show, online (https://store.honda.co.uk/) and in dealers, using a discount code that will be supplied at the show; codes will expire fourteen days after the final day of the exhibition.
Those expressing an interest in Small Miimo at the show can talk about the intelligent mower, perfect for lawns up to 400m² in size, with informed Honda Brand Ambassadors. Headline product features include the Smart Timer function that sees Small Miimo configure its own cutting schedule, optimised according to the weather forecast and a grass growth algorithm. Users can also interact with Small Miimo remotely via the ‘Mii-monitor 40’ application, available on smart devices, and Amazon Alexa (using voice commands, such as “cut”, “status” and “return to home”. Away from remote control, there’s a button panel on the unit itself to initiate the clever ‘Place & Mow’ routine to cut small sections, up to 3m².
The HRM40 Live offers fuss- free lawn care: no petrol, no oil, no sweat. Furthermore, like the rest of the Miimo family, which it joins, it boasts an automated mulching function. As a result, Miimo maintains your lawn as well as it cuts it, year-round.
Speaking about the show, Steve Morris, Head of Honda Power Equipment said: “We’re delighted to bring Lawn & Garden Power Products to the Ideal Home Show for the very first time and I couldn’t think of a better model to do it with. Small Miimo demonstrates Honda’s efforts to bring Lawn & Garden care up to speed with the technological trends that are evolving ‘home life’. With its suite of smart and connected functions, Small Miimo allows you to enjoy the outdoor life at home, to the fullest, without the upkeep necessary to maintain a perfectly manicured garden. With that said, we are delighted to extend the show-only offer of £200 off.”
The all-new Jazz e:HEV and Jazz Crosstar e:HEV return hybrid power to the nameplate for 2020 and beyond. The fourth generation Jazz range welcomes a new model-derivative in the shape of the Crosstar, which broadens the appeal with a lifestyle aesthetic. The new model marks another step forward in Honda’s Electric Vision, which will see all of Honda’s European mainstream models electrified by 2022. Spearheading this movement is the brand’s first, all-electric model, the Honda e, which will also be at the Ideal home Show.
