Changes to the Honda UK PR team

The Honda UK press office has today announced three new appointments and the departure of Tom Lynch as press officer and David Rogers as motorcycles PR manager. John O’Brien has started as press fleet officer with immediate effect; Iain Baker as the motorcycle PR manager, replacing David Rogers; and Celine Plum joins as communications manager internal and sustainability.

David joined Honda at the start of 2015 and spent over three years further building Honda’s media presence in the bike media as well as seeking new partnerships. Tom started in the Honda UK PR Team at the start of 2016 was responsible for the management of the biggest media facing asset Honda has. Everyone at Honda UK wishes both David and Tom all the best on their next chapters and would like to thank them for their contribution to Honda.

Honda UK is delighted to welcome John O’Brien to the PR team as press fleet officer. John has a strong background in the automotive media industry, having joined UKi Media & Events in 2012.

With David Rogers’ departure, the new Honda UK motorcycle PR manager will be Iain Baker, who joins the team from the Honda UK events team. Prior to this, Iain worked for Honda Motor Europe for seven years as european motorcycle PR manager and a training executive prior to that. Iain will officially join the PR team on the 23rd July.

Honda UK PR is delighted to welcome Celine Plum as communications manager – internal and sustainability. Celine spent the past nine years at Prudential in both internal and external communication roles and acted as a business adviser to the senior management. Celine joined the team at the end of May and will be responsible for developing an Internal Communications and Sustainability strategy for Honda UK.
