HONDA CELEBRATES NINE AWARD WINS FOR CIVIC MODELS

Automobile manufacturer Honda secures nine award wins in three months with Civic e:HEV and Civic Type R
Award wins include TopGear.com Car of the Year, Scottish Car of the Year and Parkers Car of the Year
Civic e:HEV also achieves top five-star score in latest Euro NCAP tests

Leading automobile manufacturer Honda is celebrating, after a bumper awards season has seen a total of nine award wins for 2022, across the Civic e:HEV and the Civic Type R models. With five and four awards respectively, the Civic family is a firm favourite across the UK.

The Civic e:HEV won Parkers Best Medium Family Car, Parkers Car of the Year, Scottish Car of the Year, Scottish Car of the Year – Best Family Car and is a carwow’s Buy It winner. The model was also a finalist for AUTOBEST’s 2023 Best Buy Car of Europe competition and recently achieved a top five-star score in the latest Euro NCAP tests.

Alongside the five awards for the Civic e:HEV , the Civic Type R has been awarded The Sunday Times Legend, TopGear.com Hot Hatchback, TopGear.com Car of the Year and carwow’s Most Anticipated New Car.

Both models were revealed earlier this year and have proven immensely popular.

The four awards for the Civic Type R round off an incredible year for the model, with the Civic celebrating 50 years and the Type R marking its 25th anniversary. The four awards and landmark birthdays further cement the Civic and the Type R as a legend on the UK roads.
