Honda launches its first ever cordless chainsaw, setting new standards for precision and power

Embarking on a mission to elevate outdoor maintenance experiences, Honda has enhanced its cordless handheld collection with the introduction of the user-friendly HHC36BXB Chainsaw — designed for domestic use.  Delivering exceptional power and precision, agile handling and a host of user-friendly features, the chainsaw is the latest product to be added to Honda’s 36V cordless system.

Powered by a 1.6kW brushless motor, and Honda Thermo Smart battery technology, this tool is ideally suited to difficult tasks such as firewood preparation, DIY, and small tree felling. Both hard and softwood can be cut with ease. Meanwhile the agile design and optimum power-to-weight ratio means this tool is also ideal for pruning low tree branches. The chainsaw not only delivers superior performance but also extends runtime for prolonged tasks and is able to perform more than 60 cuts of 100mm² pine wood on one charge of the 2.0Ah battery. Its automatic speed control system dynamically adapts to the wood's hardness, optimizing performance with high torque for hard wood and high rpm for soft wood. Furthermore, the electronic control system detects potential stalls, and adjusts the power to ensure continuous operation and avoid overheating.
