Lings Honda gets 300 people moving with charity, Kickstart

Reliability the primary driver in scooter choice

Lings Honda has supplied a 300th scooter to the charity Kickstart.

Part of the nationwide ‘Wheels 2 Work’ initiative, Kickstart helps provide affordable solutions for those with limited access to public or private transport who need to travel for education, training or employment.

Providing Kickstart with a mixture of Vision 50 and 110cc scooters, Lings has contributed to a scheme that has enhanced the lives of more than 3,800 people throughout Norfolk & the Suffolk/Cambridgeshire borders since 2012.

Crucial to Kickstart, which helps keep people on the road, is reliability and, as Barry Lynes from Kickstart explains, the Vision scooters remain first choice:

“Honda scooters have been superior to anything we have used before; you can’t beat them on reliability.

“Lings has enabled us to expand our fleet and work more efficiently, giving easier gateways to further education and employment.”

Mark Powell, of Lings Honda, has worked with Kickstart since 2012.

“Kickstart approached us looking for a durable transport solution to help assist with independent living and, since day one, the Vision scooter has proven perfectly suited.”

Kickstart provides Honda 50 or 110cc scooters, depending on the age of applicant.
